Adapting QuickBooks to Improve Efficiency

adapting quickbooks

Adapting QuickBooks to fit your work process is one way to improve efficiency on the job. A feature that will allow you to do this is “Customize Icon Bar.” By doing this, you have “one-click” access to the functions you use most often.

There are many ways to do this including the View menu, right clicking on the icon bar and using the double arrows at the end of the icon bar. The easiest way to add something to the icon bar is to go into the parts of the program that you use most often and click on the View menu; you will see an option to add the function to the icon bar. This allows you to add your most commonly used activities and reports to the icon bar for “one-click” access.

If you need to add or remove elements already on your icon bar, simply right click on the icon bar and select “Customize Icon Bar.”
