Almost every year, the list of new features in the annual release of QuickBooks is impressive. This year is no exception. Here is a look at the ways QuickBooks 2015 allows you to customize your transactions.
Total any column on sales and purchases
Now there is an expanded use of the Subtotal item type. You can create Subtotal items for Amount, Quantity, Price or Cost, and include the new Subtotal items on purchase and sales transactions. So you can now reduce tedious work by totaling quantities and custom fields, such as weight on sales forms and total units on purchase orders.
Option to see costs on sales forms
You can now have better control of margins with the addition of a cost column on sales forms. Manage your margins and profits with side-by-side cost and price comparisons. This is available in Additional Customization settings of form templates. Note that it displays the default cost from the item record, not the calculated average cost. And rest assured, it is a display only field, it does not show on printed forms.
Print footer only on last page of invoices
Also in Additional Customization settings of form templates, this allows you to have more professional-looking forms with footer information that appears only on the last page.
