When discussing technology and cloud services, many IT resellers and MSPs serving small businesses often equate “cloud” with software-as-a-service (SAAS) applications and web-based file sharing. They typically assume that any mention of cloud desktops refers to desktop-as-a-service (DAAS). Unfortunately, web applications, file sharing services, and especially DAAS, are often NOT the best or most advantageous solutions available to the SMB/SME organization.
